Hebrews 10:32-35 (NIV)
Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering. Sometimes you were publicly exposed to insult and persecution; at other times you stood side by side with those who were so treated. You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions. So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.
We may not face daily persecution because of our Christian beliefs, however many do. Yes, like many of you I’ll have been called names, shouted but nothing like the level of persecution some in other countries have to endure because they believe in God.
Can you imagine still having the strength and courage to openly share your faith, even when others persecute you because of it. I’m not sure my faith would be strong is enough in that situation, is yours?
